Item #: 3022JC
This is a very lovely rosewood credenza (or buffet) from the late 1870's. The doors, corners, and drawers are hand carved rosewood. It appears the credenza has old ebony tear drop drawer pulls that were added later. The two lower doors have two new brass pressure catches added to keep the doors closed. The right upper drawer had a writing/storage area with a hinged lid, and small cubby holes for pens, money, etc, but the hinged lid is missing. The credenza is in excellent condition. The finish is original, with a very minor wood veneer separation and one small indentation on the top. Not noticeable, but must be mentioned. The dimensions of the rosewood credenza are; 53" long, 23"deep, and 34 1/2" tall. A very nice Victorian rosewood piece that will be the perfect fit in your home!
