Item #: 052250A
This very attractive early 1930's solid oak mission style desk is bound to be a great addition to any home or office. It also has great local history attached to it. It was most likely delivered to our areas by the Rio Grande Southern Railroad. There is a paper delivery label under the center drawer which reads: "Montgomery Wards Co.," to" Mrs. J.H. Hughes, Sawpit, Colo." Sawpit is located close to Telluride Colorado, one of the towns on the path of the now famous Otto Mears RGS Railroad. The desk is solid golden oak, with double three slat bookends, and a large center drawer with original wood knobs. The desk has been professionally refinished and is in room ready condition. The desk is 42 ¼" long, 26 ½" deep and 29 ½" tall. With the small computers in use today, this desk has plenty of room and storage for any workspace you have!
