Item #: 093295-5110 Here is a nice set of 1896 silver-plated corncob holders made by and marked "F.P. Pfleghar & Co., New Haven, Connecticut., Pat. Sept. 8, 1896" All 4 holders are marked with the manufacturers mark on the back side. Two of the corncob holders are marked on the front side "Santa Fe" in Old English script, and two are unmarked. Each are 3" long, 1 3/8" wide and stand 1 1/2" tall. These corncob holders ensured that your corn would not roll off your plate on the bumpy tracks. A nice set to add to your Railroadiana collection!
