Item #: 4617 This lovely 1920’s period reverse painted table lamp is ready to brighten your home! It is quite large at 25” tall, with a 22 ¼” diameter shade. The base is cast metal, painted black, with gold accents, and is in excellent condition. The double sockets are original and have the manufacturers mark “Universal” on each. The wiring appears to be original and in good working condition. The cord is in good condition also, no fraying. The shade has eight bent “chipped ice” panels, yellow-gold reverse painted with a black, white, pink and green “morning glory on trellis” pattern reverse painted border. The shade frame is in excellent condition as are the panels. No chips or cracks. We did find what appears to be a small smudge or finger print factory mark on one panel in the yellow paint (please see picture). The finial is unusual in the fact that it is permanently attached to the shade itself, and screws into the center of the lamp base top. The table lamp is unmarked, but we believe it is a Pittsburgh Lamp Company table lamp. This is a large, stunning lamp, very showy, and ready to enjoy for many years to come in your home!
