Item #: 4089 1950 vintage Hopalong Cassidy Zoomerang gun. Made by Tigrett Enterprises, Chicago, Ill. The 9" long plastic gun with 1.5" diameter barrel holds rolled up 2.5" wide paper with repeat pattern of "Hoppy" name and image with gun. The paper is in good condition, with no rips or tears. It has edge wear on the front 3 to 4 inches of paper. The red plastic gun is spring loaded and when the spring is released, the rolled paper shoots out at an estimated 24" in a cone shape. The handle has a nice relief image of Hoppy on each side with facsimile signature "For My Pal Hoppy" on frame. The patent number, "2,495,967" appears on the left side of the frame. The gun works, is in very good condition, and there is no box. Hoppy fans will certainly appreciate this wonderful and fun piece of Hoppy history!
